The San Diego Velodrome Association is a volunteer organization dedicated to the promotion of track cycling in the San Diego area. We are happy to respond to your inquiries through mail or email.
Shaun Wallace - President
Shaun Wallace is our resident famous pro track racer. He holds multiple
Nation (Great Britain) and World Titles and still can hand racers half
his age their hats all the while complaining about just getting off
the plane and not feeling well. His vast experience at the world
class level has proven invaluable in planning and executing of
events at the San Diego Velodrome. Shaun returns to the BOD as
a member at large after taking a year off from his previous
position on the SDVA race commitee.
Eric Hollenbeck - Member at Large
Eric has probably more time on the San Diego Velordrome than anyone
and has been involved in the running of the track for most that time.
Eric is returning this year as a memeber at large after taking a year
off after 2 years as the SDVA president. He brings years of racing
experience and his time as SDVA president to improve the velodrome
experience in San Diego.
Javier Castaneda - Member at Large
Javier has been part of the San Diego Velodrome scene for many years now,
even while living in Orange County and spending lots of time on the
ADT Velodrom.
Javier's time at another velodrome brings a broader perspective to
operating the San Diego Velodrome and looks forward to contributing
to what is now his local track.

Kelcie King-York is San Diego County born and raised; she grew
up in Oceanside, graduated from Vista High School in 2004 and
now attends the University of California, San Diego. She is
in her third year at UCSD and has finally settled on pursuing
a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a certificate in Business
after extensively exploring the fields of Bioengineering and
Biochemistry. What happens after graduation is still left to
be determined but will definitely include the involvement of a
bicycle. Kelcie joined the UCSD Cycling Team in 2005 and is
currently acting as the team's Social Coordinator and Publicity
Chair. She single-handedly organized the 2006
End-Of-Tuesday-Night-Racing-Extravaganza and, id pro quo, she
landed herself a position on the Velodrome's Board of Directors.
