Monday introduction to track cycling classes, designed for riders age 8 - 16 years of age with little or no track bike racing experience as well as experienced road riders new to track riding. Each session is made up of a series of six classes. At the end of this session all riders will have the necessary safe skills, basic track cycling knowledge, and be certified to ride on the San Diego Velodrome. All 6 classes should be completed in consecutive order. All riders are offered the use of a youth size specific track bicycle or a 2015 Felt TK3 track bicycle depending on their size at NO COST.
Upon completion of the class and passing a proficiency test, riders will be elligible to attend advanced training on Thursdays. Attendance of the Thursday class is a requirement for juniors who wish to race.
Riders 12 years of age and under are required to have a parent/guardian present at all times during class.
All particpants are required to sign a waiver.

Monday Juniors Introductory Track Cycling Class Youth Under 17
All classes sold on a first-come first-serve basis. Bicyle rentals are included in all Level 1 and Level 2 classes; bicycle size availibility on a first-come first-serve basis (reservations or otherwise).
Registration Cancellation by Participant. Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for an individual class is three business days (72 hours) before the event.
The San Diego Velodrome Association (SDVA) reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the class non-viable.
If SDVA cancels a class, registrants will be offered a full refund.
Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, SDVA has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date. Class cancelation due to rain or adverse weather will be credited towards a future session at the coaches' discretion.
