Try the Track - 1 Day Intro Class

Cyclists riding bicycles at the San Diego Velodrome

Want to try riding at the velodrome, but you're not ready to commit to a full six-class series such as our Introductory Class? Try our one-day Try the Track course! All fitness levels and abilities are welcome!

A track bike is provided if you do not own one!

In this two-hour class you will be introduced to the basic skills and information you need to ride a bike safely on the velodrome. All you need are a pair of closed-toe shoes, a bike helmet, and a good attitude!

If you are interested in racing, or you'd like to become Race Certified, please see our full Introductory Class. Please note, Try the Track will result in Safety Certification, but does not result in Racing Certification. See more about Safety and Racing Certification here.
