SDVA has just introduced half-price memberships for full-time students at SDVA-affiliated Colleges.
To be affiliated (no fee), a College must have one person designated to act as SDVA contact, through which ALL affiliate membership applications and checks are received.
In return, it is expected that any student receiving a discounted membership should be involved with at least one volunteer activity for the velodrome.

Sunday mornings 10am -   SDVA Group Training.
Free for members.
This is a time set aside for members to meet up and train together. There's usually a group riding madison, but always equal time in between for non-madison riders.

Raced track and now would you like to learn to ride madison?   Show up for this session and chances are someone will be there to teach you how to sling, and how to interact with other madison riders.

In order to become a pro cyclist you have to start somewhere. somewhere like the Velodrome. the Velodrome cycling center is an excellent place to go if you are looking for a positive environment. The Velodrome has a youth program called VeloYouth and i am a part of that program. At the Velodrome there is a lady named Tanya, she is the one that decided to start VeloYouth. VeloYouth is a 7 - week program that helps kids learn the sport of cycling, while there kids also learn track cycling, responsibility, teamwork, empowerment and pride. I personally love the velodrome. It helps me relieve stress. If you are looking for a quick and easy way to relieve stress try cycling
